Mai Bhago College of Pharmacy is the result of highly educated social thinkers and administrators who intend to impart a highly professional, skilled training in medical and para-medical field.

A small initiation in this regard has resulted into a full blooming College. The college is situated on the outskirts of Tarn-Taran city, on the G.T. Road linking Amritsar with Ferozpur. It is a magnificient building with spacious classrooms and laboratories. Besides having a huge and extensive building, the college prides in itself in having spacious lawns, and grounds of badminton, basketball and volleyball.

Another worthy feature of the college is two hostel blocks which are presently accommodating more then 100 students. A unique feature pertinent to mention here is that the college has twenty-four hours supply of electricity on account of the efforts of management which has been successful in getting the hotline facility for the college. Being on the Grand Trunk Road the college is frequented by 5 minutes bus service, besides the college has it own buses for plying the students to and from the hospital so that first class and highly professionalized clinical training could be imparted to the students. For this purpose the college is affiliated to the Govt. Medical College, Civil Hospitals and ultra-modern private hospitals. Our pass percentage for the last years has been 100%.

Philosophy of Mai College of Nursing

Mai Bhago College of Pharmacy is the Pioneer Institute for nursing education and research in Punjab offering basic education programmes. Its primary aim is to educate and train women as health professionals.

The Mai Bhago College of Pharmacy was established in year 2001. As the name implies this institution of that owe its name after courageous women Mai Bhago ji we take a great deal of encouragement from victorious spirit of lady. we wish to make our students like , because we want them to have victory on professional front. We seek to make a significant contribution to health standard of all community of our nation with special emphasis on health care in rural areas.

Professional nursing is a life long services to the people and nursing must advance along with other help professionals if society is to be assured of a balance Health Care program. Therefore the college prepares its student to develop ability to analyse situation and problems critically and take responsibility for their higher education for maximum professional effectiveness throughout their career.

Since Nursing standard is maintained at a high level, the result of examination have always been excellent. In response to unchanged society, the nursing practice has changed changed from mere apprenticeship to a professional education to foster nursing as a professional career attractive and desirable to young people on an equal basis with any other career.

The College of Nursing degree program is affiliated with BaBa farid University of health Science, Kotakpura Road. Faridkot-151203[pb]. The registration is done by Punjab nurses registeration council. The program is recognized by Indian Nursing Council . The College of Nursing institute is situated in large vibrant camp on the NH-54Grand truck Road Near Tarn Taran sugar mills, Tarn Taran the campus has the lively residential environment with lots of Rooms to socialize for the staff and nursing students.

we believe that the purpose of student is to faster the physical social emotional intellectual development of the student so that she may function as a productive member of the society. The primary goal is to have to develop each child to the best of her potential we recognized that each student is unique and that variety of programs and methods are needed to meet the need of each student.
